Terms of use

1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing and using Rubik ("the Service"), you accept these Terms of use in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. Rubik reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, notifying users at least 15 days in advance by email to the registered address.

2. Description of the service

Rubik is a SaaS platform for UX and product designers that provides a structured user experience design process in 6 phases and up to 36 steps, with artificial intelligence assistance validated against a curated knowledge base. The Service includes AI assistance through OpenAI, storage of projects and deliverables, quality reports and PDF export.

3. User account

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Illegal activities or activities that violate third-party rights
• Distributing harmful or offensive content, or content that infringes copyright
• Attempting to access the Service's systems or data without authorization
• Automating use of the Service in a way that overloads the infrastructure
• Reselling or redistributing access to the Service without prior authorization

5. Intellectual property

The content of the Service (brand, design, code, knowledge base, methodology) is the exclusive property of Rubik and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The deliverables and projects you create in Rubik are yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Privacy and data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy policy. Data is stored in Supabase (United States) and AI assists are processed by OpenAI. We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Payments and cancellations

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually depending on the option selected. Charges are non-refundable unless the law provides otherwise. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access will continue until the end of the billed period. When you cancel, your projects will be kept in read-only mode for 90 days.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". Rubik does not guarantee that the Service will be free of errors or interruptions. In no event shall Rubik be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service. Rubik's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the last 12 months.

9. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Substantial changes will be notified by email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
